I was passed over for Teacher of the Year for my school. It's no big deal. I didn't expect to win. Life goes on and I'll continue to teach the same as always. I am honored that I was selected as one of the six finalist out of 177 teachers at my school. That in itself is amazing.

Teaching is a critical profession. I taught at four PA universities as an adjunct. It is a highlight of my professional career.
