Scenario: SSG served 10 years in a balanced MOS and honorably discharged. Can he or she rejoin as a SSG a year later? What if his age over 40? also will it be an indef enlistment?

The former SSG needs to go talk to a recruiter. They'll be able to answer questions with the most current information. This is from the go army page.

What did the recruiter say when the SSgt spoke to them? Everything falls under the need of the Military and things change from year to year. Speaking to a recruiter will be the most accurate information for the current options open to this SSgt.
