Do commissary/exchange employees receive a CAC (or other form of DOD ID)?

My spouse just got a job at the local exchange and both of us were wondering if they would receive a DOD ID or CAC Card. Did research online to try and find an answer but was unable to come up with anything concrete. Thank you for the insight.

I expect commissary employees that are civil service employees would have a CAC. Almost all Exchange employees are Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) employees, which is different from regular civil service. I'm not sure if they have CAC, but should have a photo ID of some type just to get onto the installation.

Pretty straight forward. Non Appropriated DoD civilian employee. It's part of the check-in process.
