BURLY'S WARRIORS IS ON WFL TONIGHT!!!
Come on by, stop in and JOIN Warriors for Life (WFL) TONIGHT - "Mental Health Is the Next Battlefront!"
Yes, indeed, drop in TONIGHT with Volunteer and Army Veteran Mikel Burroughs for "Burly's Warriors" edition of Warriors for Life (WFL) Online, presented by Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV).

We are asking everyone to share who we are and what support Victory for Veterans provides via WFL. If you know someone who is a veteran, first responder or a family member/caregiver, please ask them to join us for at least one meeting so they can learn more about what we do and how they can share their wisdom with others who may be able to learn from them.

We thank you in advance for being our voice and sharing our program and mission with everyone you know that can help and in turn benefit from their peers in a safe environment - the more people that are aware, the more lives we can affect and save for another day.

TONIGHT's Topic: "Mental Health Is the Next Battlefront!"

Join Mikel Saturday TONIGHT and let's get together online for the Warriors for Life (WFL) and talk about "Mental Health Is the Next Battlefront!"

The new 'Battle' or 'Battlefront' of invisible wounds that veterans and first responders suffer from may not be apparent to outsiders, loved ones can attest that the outward signs are very real.

The impact on mental can linger long after deployment, transition for the military or transitioning out of first responder public service. In addition, PTSD symptoms may not emerge until weeks or even years after a traumatic event. The symptoms include avoiding people or activities that remind the person of the traumatic event; negative thoughts and hopelessness; self-destructive behavior; trouble sleeping and concentrating; and angry or aggressive behavior.

Symptoms of traumatic brain injury are also very broad, and it can be tricky to diagnose because all too often, veterans don’t realize they have it.

Let's explore the mental health battlefront that veterans, first responders, caregivers, and families will experience together.

Our Vision at Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV) is simple: "Where Hope, Support, and Healing come together!"

We encourage you to join us, Everyone is Welcome, Everyone Matters, You Matter to Us, so Talk to Us! — invite a friend!
