Are Prior Service allowed to retake the ASVAB more than once?

I am looking to re-enlist but to apply for OCS and come back in as an Officer. I originally took the ASVAB out of HS, during that time I had no idea what the test was or had ever considered joining the military until some months later (mind you this was 2008). After speaking with a recruiter, I was told that I could retake the ASVAB, however prior service is only allowed a one time go at a re-take. Anybody have insight into this or if this is true? I want to ensure I secure atleast a 110GT score to meet the qualifications for OCS, however I am extremely anxious now that if I don't make it-- that's my one and only shot.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes, as a prior service member, you can typically retake the ASVAB, but usually only once. Since you're aiming for a GT ASVAB score of 110 for OCS, it's definitely a good idea to prepare thoroughly. Talk to your recruiter for the most accurate info and tips. Good luck—you’ve got this!

That may be the rule for recruiting but once you're in the Army you can retake it as many times as you need, you just have to wait six months

Not sure about any prior service rules. Best advice is to study hard and do multiple practice test. https://www.4tests.com/asvab#StartExam
You know your scores so see how far off the GT score were you and focus of that. You can do it if you put your mind to it. Good luck.
