When I was stationed at Lowry AFB, CO in 1970-1971 We made a few excursions over to the Coors Brewery in Golden, CO. Well We did the tour twice then got the free beer, a few times after that We skipped the tour as We know knew our way around and just went for the Free beer.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - My wife and I were meting some friends in Breckenridge to go skiing one year many years ago. We stopped in at Lowry, spent the night, and rented our skis at MWR. Next morning we got up and decided to do the Coors tour before we went up tothe resort andmet everyone. Well, we did the tour and got tothe tasting and they didn't pour small glasses. There were at least 7 types of varieties so me being the southern gentlemen that I am didn't want to offend the hosts so I tried all of them and finished of some of my wifes she didn't like. Needless to say we found a restaurant, ate lunch and walked around Golden CO for the remainder of the day and met our friends late that night when we sobered up. Good day though.
