Is this the weirdest election ever?

I've been participating in elections well before I became eligible to vote in 1964 and this feels like the weirdest I've ever seen. Generally, local elections are the weirdest with all types of characters jumping into the fray for fun if nothing else. National elections, especially presidential elections have been stodgy affairs. The Bush/Gore election turned into a real Donnybrook, but I don't think it'll hold a candle to Clinton/Trump. Although, to be fair, I had expected more fuss and fury around the RNC Convention. That was a disappointment for fight fans, wasn't it? I suppose the weirdest in my memory was a senatorial race in Maryland in 1964, my first chance to vote. The step mother of one candidate spent the evening before the polls opened, damning and cursing her son who was a leading candidate. Can you top that?

It is the strangest in my life time. The first election I remember was the Eisenhower vs Adlai Stevenson. I wore the shoe with the hole in it ro school. The first election I voted in was Carter vs Ford. This is strange. Having some one under investigation by the FBI. Trump can't seem to keep his foot out of his mouth. Oh well it is what it is. I will support Trump because if Hillary doesn't understand how to manage classified documents how can she understand how to manage America?

Remember the "joke" from the Eisenhower/Stevenson contest? Why did Stevenson shoot his dog? Well, when he stepped on its tail it ran down the street crying "Ike, Ike, Ike"
