Does anyone know anything about 560th battlefield surveillance brigade at fort shafter hawaii? I've looked everywhere and can't find anything other than something in Georgia?

If anyone has any insight as to what life would be like there as a 25S it would be greatly appreciated.

The 560th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade (BFSB) is not stationed at Fort Shafter in Hawaii but is actually based at Oglethorpe Armory in Ellenwood, Georgia, as part of the Georgia Army National Guard. Here's what can be said about the 560th BFSB:

Background: The 560th BFSB was established on October 1, 2007, and is the first battlefield surveillance brigade in the Army National Guard. Its mission is to provide command and control of reconnaissance, surveillance, and intelligence operations in support of a division, corps, or joint task force. The brigade is authorized an estimated 1,108 soldiers to carry out these missions.
Command and Structure: The brigade's headquarters is responsible for command, control, and supervision of tactical operations, while the headquarters company provides administrative and logistical support. In October 2010, there was a change of command from Colonel Peter VanAmburgh to Colonel Thomas Carden.
Training and Operations: The 560th has participated in various exercises and training events. For instance, in 2008, they conducted their first capability exercise at Fort Knox, and in 2011, they were involved in exercises like Atlas Drop 11 in Uganda. They've also been involved in international training, including operations in Scotland and with the Ugandan Army for military decision-making process training.
Deployment: They have conducted deployments, such as supporting KFOR 15 in Kosovo in 2011, where elements of the brigade provided both analytical control and tactical maneuver support.

However, there's no recent or direct information linking the 560th BFSB to Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Fort Shafter itself is home to units like the United States Army Pacific Command and other support and intelligence units, but not the 560th BFSB.

If you are looking for information on units at Fort Shafter, you might be interested in the 500th Military Intelligence Brigade, which is stationed at Schofield Barracks, near Fort Shafter, and focuses on intelligence capabilities in support of USARPAC.
