Fact: Nikki Haley, not Trump, will be the Republican candidate for president next year.
I don't have a crystal ball. I don't have ESP. And I don't have any secret/insider info. Nonetheless, Nikki Haley will be the Republican presidential candidate on next November's ballot. Here's why:

Trump's dementia is becoming more apparent with his non-sequitur rants in front of any news camera, and also at his rallies that have dwindling attendance. While many MAGAs would follow him to the grave, others are heading for the Exit. And what the mainstream media never mentions is that he's probably the most hated figure in the non-MAGA part of the Republican Party. They really want him to just go away, but would never say so out loud.
Regarding the other Republican candidates, most of them are at two to three percent in the polls and will be ignored. How about Ron DeSantis? He has the charisma of a yak, and you need a bit more than that to get nominated. Hillary could beat him in the upcoming campaign.
Which leaves us with Nikki Haley. Ninety nine percent of the country doesn't have a clue about her policies, her beliefs, or what she would do if she were to end up in the Oval Office. Nonetheless, as Trump's spell begins to fade, hers increases. She's got the charisma, the smarts and the "Look" to become the candidate.
Trump may win/steal one or more of the upcoming 2024 primaries, but it won't matter. He's over. Nikki Haley will win the nomination for the Republican candidate for the presidency.

(Whether or not she can beat Joe Biden is a question for a different Orignal Post.)

I highly doubt that Nikki Haley will be front-runner. Right-wing pundits will likely swing conservative voters away from minority GOP candidates to Donald Trump. As one example, Ann Coulter made a racist insult against both Haley and Ramaswamey after they announced their candidacies.

While I absolutely welcome Haley as the candidate and an end to both the drama of Trump and the current end of the worst President in History, I disagree with your premise as to why Trump may not succeed with his candidacy. I'm no fan of Trump, but I don't see the so-called dementia examples you allude to. As a "non-MAGA" individual, I also disagree with your contention that we all "hate" Trump. You don't speak for me or any other "non-MAGA" person besides yourself. Given the choice of Trump and the worst President this country has ever seen, I would have no choice but to vote for Trump. I may not like him, but I know he will work to get things I support done and I am pragmatic enough to know that voting third party serves no purpose.

I also disagree with your perspective on DeSantis too. You might not like his Charisma, but that's your opinion. He is absolutely a person I highly respect and appreciate for all the things he's doing in FL and I think he is capable of doing it all nationwide. Which by the way, is what absolutely matters to me more... Can my President produce the results he promises me? Yes, he can.

SFC John Davis - I do not and will not ever accept the left's opinion of who or what I am. I am my own person, highly educated, highly successful, got here on my own, and I don't really give a crap how they wish to characterize it. Collectively on their part, I've been called racist, sexist, a war monger, anti-immigrant, homophobic, xenophobic, a denier of science, and of course a Trump supporter simply for defending anything he's done. It's all bullshit coming from people who know nothing about me or people similar to me.

Pitting Trump or ANYONE up against the worst President this country has ever seen, is in large part thanks to those on the left voting for Biden and not putting up an effective challenge to get a better candidate. I'll be doing my part to put a better candidate up against Trump, but ultimately, I realize that may fail. But I still say the left is really a large part of the reason why. They are the ones propping up his popularity each time they fail at keeping him out of the political scene. What's their excuse with Biden? Are they going to tell me there isn't a better, more competent, more cognizant candidate out there that can defeat him? They're barely even trying to get rid of him because they are fully invested in the DNC kool aid. At least I can say I am working to take one of the two evils out of the picture to avoid voting for the lesser of the two evils.

SPC Carl Davis - A broken clock is right twice a day. However, I certainly hope you hit that mark in your posturing attempt to claim you were the smartest person in the room that one time.

SFC John Davis -

Regarding SPC. Davis's opinion: If Trump has mental problems by the online experts here, what does Biden have?

General statement
As for drama, clearly the media the Left as a whole and the FBI and others continue to harass Trump and fabricate drama to poison the well. At the same time they protect Biden at all costs; hiding and disposing of evidence on his behalf even to the point of attacking whistleblowers. Obviously we have a two tiered justice system that works only in the favor of the Leftists.

I have no problem with the Justice department setting up politicians and going after them on trivial matters but play the game equally. In fact I'd like to see them all locked up for life in prison for their crimes on both sides, and a few executed for good measure. I'm willing to lop off heads on boths sides with a smile.
