Here in North Dakota, bike riding is a few weeks away. We are under a blizzard warning until midnight Wednesday the 5th. Guess there won't be any riding for a week or more. Hopefully by the end of next week it will be nice riding weather. Nice riding weather up here is anytime the temp is above freezing, and the roads are free of ice and snow. We pay for 6 months insurance, but it covers the entire year because you never know when you can ride. I've ridden on Pearl Harbor Day a few years ago. Just hangin in there for better road conditions. We just wear long johns and a heavier coat.
