Calling ALL Sergeants First Class
Date Published: 19 Aug 19
1. Are you eagerly awaiting the release of the 2019 MSG Promotion Selection
Order of Merit List in the ACT?
2. What if I told you by logging into ACT TODAY, there are a few steps that
would save you valuable time. Would you be interested?
3. Follow these quick easy steps:
Step One: Log onto ACT https://actnow.army.mil
Step Two: Click on Leaders & Mentors selection located under the TRACK Tab
in ACTs left navigation
Step Three: Add Leaders or Mentors
Step Four: Ensure Leaders or Mentors Accept you as his/her subordinate
4. You can also refer to the tutorial in ACT Knowledge Base using the
following Link:

%20-%20MIL/ACT%202.0%20Adding%20a%201st%20Line%20Leader%20-%20MIL.swf
5. Note: While this will not stop you from viewing your OML sequence number
in ACT (for those selected for promotion only), this is a necessary step in
order to voluntarily SHARE your results with your Leaders or Mentors.
6. Key Points:
A. Only those NCOs selected for promotion will have an ORDER OF MERIT option
appear under TRACK section in the left navigation menu and be able to view
their OML standing in ACT.
B. You may voluntarily select which Leaders and/or Mentors can view your OML
number in ACT, therefore making your OML number visible to a Leader or
Mentor is OPTIONAL.
C. If you do not have a Leader or Mentor selected while viewing your OML
number in ACT, click the UPDATE YOUR LEADERS OR MENTORS HERE link or select
the ADD button.
D. To make your OML number visible to a Leader or Mentor, select SHARE. To
remove visibility from a Leader or Mentor, select UNSHARE.
