Former 2nd Armored Division (Forward) Commander, BG Thomas H. Tait. “Walking Tall”. He retired a Major General in the United States Army. He was always carrying a Pick Handle. At the same time he was the Commander of 2AD (FWD) at Garlstedt, West Germany, he also was the Commander of III Corps (FWD) at Masstricht, Netherlands.
