So, I was going through my pictures and I found a 2404 (maintenance inspection worksheet) and the low air buzzer started to go off every now and again, but the air pressure would go right back up and the buzzer would go turn off. So I knew there wasn't a major issue and I tried covering the buzzer with just about anything I could find, and I may or may not have shoved the buzzer through the dash.

First of all that’s a 5988-E not a 2404. Secondly it sounds like someone may or may not owe some money to the Army, or at minimum a good smoke session. 3rd of all, what’s even the point of this post?

First of all, I understand that is a 5988, and not a 2404, that's what I always call them because both forms are pretty much the same thing. Secondly it's not really that big of a deal because it's not that hard of a fix. 3rd of all, the point of the post was because I found it comical and u thought maybe somebody would think this was comical as well. I apologize if I bothered you by this post SSG.

That’s a 5988. Also, as a mechanic, I’d try my hardest to charge that soldier for the damage.

I agree, what is the point of this post? If you are/were too poor of a mechanic to figure out this issue, you should have asked for help. Bragging about destroying government equipment will not win you any friends here.
