Is there a way to obtain a yearbook from Basic Training? I was there a long time ago (1986) but I remember there was a yearbook (I think you would call it that) offered. Of course, I lost mine....

There's a page on Facebook that's dedicated to Basic over the years; pictures, books, stories, etc. It might be a good starting point. ( https://www.facebook.com/US-Army-Official-Basic-Training-Platoon-Photos [login to see] 52/ )
I still have my basic yearbook, Ft Knox, Mar 71, D-13-4 that I listed for sale, but no takers. I figure I won't be around for a whole lot longer, and I'd like to get it to someone who would take care of it instead of being tossed in a pile when I pass. There's no family to hand it off to, so who knows where it will end up.
I went back active in Feb 87 and back thru Basic again, at Ft Benning, C-6-1, but by April I was being medically discharged and honestly don't know if one was offered for that cycle or not.

No Sir I sure didn't. I've actually just put it back on the shelf and there it remains. Also I'm new enough here to still be feeling my way thru and wasn't aware there was a sales portion.

There's a moderator at the Fort Ord Facebook page that might take your book. He collects mostly Fort Ord yearbooks and other items, but he also collects from other posts. He scans all of the books and from what I read has a huge collection of basic training yearbooks/cycle books.

I have not found any copies. I am trying to find out who the publisher of the yearbook was and hopefully they still have copies or maybe a digital copy.
