For those who were ever stationed in Korea, to what camp(s) were you assigned?

Ie: Casey, Yongsan, Stanley, and so forth... For the AF, Navy, and Marines, it would be bases still.<br>

My first duty station was at Camp Casey in Dongducheon. I liked Korea so much I AIP'd and stayed from October of 2008 to October of 2010. I even took in country leave for 14 days. A lot of people put Korea down but I must say it was the best 2 years of my life. I didnt have a wife or a significant other mind you. I was a 20 year old single guy with a $30,000 bonus so take that as you will! South Korea is an absolutely beautiful country though and I would love to go back as a civilian some day!

Kyle, why I went back in 1991. Wanted to see it from the civilian side and did for 9 years! Now I am in my 50's and been gone for 15, I would love to go back and see the changes! Korea will always be my 2nd home! Some tough memories also from the DMZ days!

I didn't have a pocket full of money, but it was definitely my favorite duty station as a 21 yr old single male.

Spent 13 months (82-83)- worked my butt off and still had time to met the wonderful woman who became my wife. Definitely my favorite assignment. Went back at least once a year TDY from 84-93. Saw my wife's family more than she did in those years. My job took me all over the country. When people ask about some place in Korea my tells them to ask me because I have been to way more places than she has.

I was on Yongsan for a year. Just got back last October. Definitely a great place to visit but would have enjoyed it more with my family.

I was stationed at Yongsan from March 2013 to July 2014 and I miss it but not dealing with some "BS" from my former unit as well as a few former Civilian supervisors.
