I created this Video several years ago in Honor of Memorial Day... I post this again today on Memorial Day 2023. May they rest in perpetual peace!

Why do we remember our service men and women who have died? What is Memorial Day and why do we observe it? Memorial Day is a special day on which we pay Tribute to those who served in active military service and made the ultimate sacrifice while serving or later and are remembered. Memorial Day was traditionally observed on May 30th, but now it is officially observed on the last Monday in May. Yet we continue to pay Tribute to all deceased U.S. Service Men and Women throughout the year...

This short video provides some deep seated meaning as described and narrated by former President Ronald Reagan... Watch and listen as he articulates his feelings and beliefs on why we celebrate this serious day... We finish this video with the playing of TAPS for all those Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, and Coast Guardsmen who have passed on to eternal life.
