Scott DeShields Jr from the Kentucky Ballistics YouTube channel was badly injured in a “freak accident” when his Serbu RN 50 rifle exploded.
The shocking incident was caught on video and left the YouTuber with a lacerated jugular vein, a hole punctured in his right lung, and his orbital bone broken in three places.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - The video is NOT graphic at all. It shows the weapon explode, but his injuries are not in any way obvious. His Dad was running the video camera and they obviously edited it so that the aftermath was not shown. The guy literally stuck his finger into his carotid artery - they rushed towards a hospital while calling 911 and an ambulance met them enroute. His finger (and Dad) literally saved his life.

Yep, he is one VERY fortunate man. It's also remarkable, given today's litigious society, that he does not blacm the .50 cal manufacturer.
