I wanted post the 10th Mountain Division Historian survey for anyone that has not already filled it out. I've gotten some great responses from everyone that has filled it out on other sites. Please remember no one's story is insignificant, everyone's story is a part of the history of the 10th Mountain Division. Please take a couple of minutes to fill it out and help preserve the Division's history. Thank you in advance.

When I was a young boy, my family lived in Leadville, CO. Camp Hale, the original home of the 10th Mountain Division was not far away. The Cooper Hill ski training area was open to the public and many of us school kids learned to ski there under Army instructors.

My Great Grandpa served there and I have read a lot about it. Someday I will pay a visit.

Thank you. Right now I am in the collection phase. If nothing else I want to be able to preserve the stories that are out there. I have already found out that one Veteran that filled the survey out passed away. I wish I had been able to get more of his story and so I just want to not let that happen anymore.
