Canadians in British Columbia are buying gasoline in Washington state because the carbon taxes and local Municipal Taxes are so high that gasoline is over $6 a gallon can Canadian politicians know you are not going to drive less but some are smart and driving to the US side of the border to fill up and come back. British Columbia does not want any refineries built so there is a gasoline shortage and there is a threat from neighboring Alberta to shut off the pipeline because the British Columbian government, that is very socialist, doesn't want to play ball and approve the pipeline expansion. In the Canadian government, there is a bill C-48 that will prevent oil to be exported any ship above 22000 tons. This will prevent any oil to be shipped to the US, China or India . That basically prevents the value of an expanded pipeline that the Canadian government just put 5 billion dollars down to do. The Canadian government on one hand wants the pipeline and another hand wants no oil to be exported to India and China so you can see that Canada is schizophrenic. This is kind of what's happening in the USA with the Democratic party with the AOC British Columbia and thinking faction on one side and the moderate Democratic on the other as well as with the Republicans who know that any carbon tax or cap-and-trade will just siphon money out of the economy.
