Everyone on of them should be thrown under the jail.
I guess I am fortunate. My daughter didn't do all of this when at school. She really stood her grounds when it came to her morals and others telling her what she was and wasn't going to do. I take it all back to the core family as well. I know my daughter knew what was right and what was wrong. We did not allow her to even whiff alcohol until she was 21...at that time we took her on a cruise to celebrate her college graduation and her 21st birthday. She drank and boy how but the hangovers kept her from doing it again. Some parents allow their kids to drink when they are 18 and I just don't think that is right...I don't know this full situation but this kid thought it was ok to pound it back and no other kid in the room said enough. I don't know his parents and I am sure they raised him right but there comes a point in life when your kids have to go on their own and make decisions for their life. You hope and pray and worry every day that they will revert back to what you have taught them and reflect on that and make the right choices.

I was in a fraternity and did a lot of drinking there. We even ended up loosing our charter over drinking shenanigans, so we weren't the good boys on campus.
It's all about who you choose to associate with and knowing where your limit is. I see these stories and they're definitely tragic, but it's not the whole system that's to blame. Individuals are at fault, including the one who's doing the drinking.
