I watched the first two, pretty good. I'm not rating them with Band of Brothers, but they are pretty good.
I did point out the difference in lifestyles. A grunt or a tanker is often in harms way for weeks, sometimes months at a time, especially during WWII were some units were pushed until they ceased to be Combat Effective. These guys got shot at for a couple of hours, flew back to the relative safety of England, had a shower and hot meal, then went to the Pub.
That wasn't true in every theater, the SW Pacific being the prime example.
