General Billy Mitchell was ignored by the Military Brass in the 1920s but the Japanese, the Russians and the Germans paid attention!

PO1 Tony Holland That was an outstanding article. When total air domination is achieved, it allows ground forces to maneuver with impunity. I remember after aerial domination was achieved in 1991 watching as coalition armor raced across the desert in broad daylight leaving a cloud of dust in their wake. I was amazed that they would do that, but when friendly aircraft are the only planes overhead, it makes it that much easier.
