An excellent question, CPT Jack Durish. One that can be answered yes or no. In either case, I submit there is reason to hope.
Yes: we are awash in a sea of relativism. Reason is slowly, but surely, finding its way back to its rightful place in society. This has only been possible due to the obvious insanity of political correctness and Progressivism. Reason may not prevail tomorrow, but it isn't dead yet. Facts are stubborn things. However, Reason may yet prevail. And for that, I will continue to hope.
No: we are awash in a sea of relativism. There are no morals (no right and wrong); neither are there many virtues remaining that many would recognize. The only virtue that remains is tolerance. Reason is the new hate speech. Those who embrace Reason are racists. Tomorrow may determine if they are the most recent martyrs to water the Tree of Liberty. For that, I will continue to hope.
