What Russian thought was the war would be quick and over in a very short time. But they miscalculated the will of the Ukraine people and the effectiveness of western military technology. Russia got its butt hand to them and now they are scrounging for more equipment. They will soon deplete their supplies. But they have also gained lots of knowledge about the effectiveness of our technology. If they are smart enough, they will build better systems for the battlefield. Just have to wait and see.
