Why does China want to take over Taiwan?

This is a question that has become important as Russia has INVADED Ukraine to take over its land area, which was once under the USSR rule! Well, what does that have to do with the South China Sea and the islands within it? Well for one reason, Russia and China have formed an alliance of sorts... Both are nuclear powers, both want to expand their resources... China wants Taiwan as a Chinese land area on the edge of the South China Sea and if the world recognizes it, then they will move on acquiring more islands in and around the Sea...

The South China Sea is a part of the Global Sea Lane for goods and services around the world! Not only that, but it has tremendous crude OIL reserves that can be produced... and it is a vast sea of fish and other Sea Life... China is moving smartly ahead to become the Number One Country in the world and wants to displace the United States! It is making good headway, as many will confirm.
