They should have waited and released both memos together. I'm not a genius, but even I know that. All this does is make the Administration look like they are covering something up and playing favorites. I honestly hate that all I see on many news stations is whatever dumb thing POTUS did today - but I hate even more than he does those things so regularly - and against the advice of... pretty much everyone.

A couple of things worth remembering. The democrats memo was not routed by the FBI and intel as the GOP memo was before being sent to the white house. It was a far more raw document and had to have the detailed review done at the white house. There are many that think the dems stuck in things they knew would have to be redacted in order to cry foul.
They can clean up the document, based upon FBI and intel feedback and send it back. The process was correctly followed. IF the dems were interested in their memo making it through unscathed they would have done the security check before the vote.
I think the republicans screwed up by sending it through without requiring the dems to do what they did with their memo.

Why don't you address the FACT that the democrats did not run their document by the FBI or Intel before bringing to a vote as the GOP did. The GOP ensured their document would be released by doing so. Guess what, they were right. Nothing classified was in their memo even thought the democrats lied and said it revealed sources and methods.

the FBI and Justice said that the Nines memo said to much also and that it lied by ommmision. why was that determined to be OK to release other that to support a corrupt President?

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - Omitting things was not the issue at the time. The issue was the democrats said that sources and means would be exposed. They were not. The GOP memo was clearly their perspective on the committee findings. You cannot include everything in a 4 page summary (or a 10 page summary) summaries by definition exclude lots of information, duh.
The GOP ran their document by the FBI and Intel before voting on it, it was cleared. The dems did not (even though they told the GOP members they would). Care to address that discrepancy or are you only interested in parroting democrat tripe?

I don't think the White House is "seeking" anything. It is the Dems that are seeking ... and the White House has simply told them to revise their submission if they want it released. I don't think Trump particularly cares whether it is released at all.

MCPO Roger Collins - Of course not ... but if the Dems want to get their memo released, Trump is forcing them to make a credible effort to black out classified information. The only way they can do that is to have it vetted by the FBI and CIA before it goes back to Trump. I guess what I'm saying here is that Trump has put the ball back in their court ... and until they satisfy Trump that they've appropriately censored their own memo (with the help of the FBI and CIA), the Republican memo stands unchallenged. The Dem base may not be happy with that ... but ... it makes no nevermind. The Dem base is never happy.

Always watch the other hand when a master magician is at work. If the lamestream media is focused on the latest Trump Shiny Thing, look for what's really happening in the White House. Pres Trump played the Dems on the government shutdown and he will do the same thing over and over again. The Dems have no political or philosophical positions that can stand up to a true conservative who doesn't give a flip about all the crap the media thinks is important. My guess: a DACA deal.
