No I don't trust the current White House occupant or many others in the current Federal Government structure. So often they have been deceptive and either outright lied or stretched the truth. It's up to them to give us a reason to trust them which hasn't happened !

It’s all “Wag the Dog”. Please, we just left Afghanistan as the enemy swept through the country and did nothing after 20 years of investing in the country. I don’t think “trust us” means a lot at the moment. Sadly the administration is now trying to posture as hardcore to Russia because of the Afghan withdrawal.

The other problem is the fact that Biden didn’t coordinate with the allies as we pulled out. That left our NATO partners in Afghanistan in the lurch. There were some very hard feelings.

The Biden Administration just needs to realize no enemy in the world is fearful of a Democratic administration. Every major conflict of the 20th Century sans the Gulf War was a result of Democrats trying to avoid war and Putin knows Russia would kick the shit out of us anywhere near Ukraine in his back yard
