Binney has been promoting his theories since 2001. He proposed a tech system and lost out to a different system, so he lost out earning millions of dollars.

Not surprised. A citizenry can be more easily controlled when their communications are compromised. Whether by human intel or electronic monitoring. Had not thought about the fact that the NSA is breaking the 1st Amendment but in fact it is.
