Where Will the Infantry Fight Future Wars?

Good observations, comments and questions. I started out in grasslands, moved on to jungle, then Europe's East-West Borders, a passthrough the eastern Mediterranean Coastal countries, rotated out to the South American mountainous terrain plus Central America's jungles, traveled back to Europe for Land/Air/Sea. Finished up in full on desert environments. Never did ice fighting though I did use skis and snowshoes in West Germany.
Wherever it is we will wear Woodland Camo in the desert, Snowwhite's in the tropics & Chocolate Chips in the northern climes.

I was wishing for warfare to become obsolete next.
