I've been wondering the same thing. Sure, I know that I'm the descendant of slave owners. Well, not actually (my grandparents immigrated to America after the slaves were freed, from lands in which they were serfs and peasants, coal miners actually). But, don't let details stand in the way. I was a slave owner or, well, I enjoy the privileges of those who owned slaves. Everything has been denied to others so that it could be given to me. I suppose I'm to blame for that too. Of course, some of those who gave it to me are cousins, one buried in a military cemetery in Brittany and another sewn into a canvas shroud somewhere at the bottom of the Pacific. But, what the hell, I'm still culpable for something or other. So please help me out here. What the hell am I guilty of? Why do you hate me?

We are the only acceptable target in our political correct country today. Everyone else has protection from some special interest groups. I've noticed most TV commercials and programs show us in a negative context.

Pure unadulterated BS. Most of us came from humble origins and got no such thing. I worked for every nickel and "privilege" I got over the years. Many blacks were right beside me.
