I read on another site that a Baboon shorted a power grid and knocked out the electrical.

At Eglin AFB a copper thief threw his chain up over power lines instead of telephone lines - intending to pull them down and roll up a couple miles of wire for their copper. The power lines bit back though, and he will never do that again.
