It is not a win, it is a division. While I do not believe religion has a place in public, I also do not believe one person's rights begin or end at another person's rights starting or stopping points. Since FFRF came about, these people believe their freedom from regligion takes precedence over someone's freedom to practice, it does not. Things like this simple divides communities and is certainly not a win for anyone.

It is only because until recently there has been no resistance to the overstepping of the religious on our constitution. Now that there is, the religious are having to actually get in line with the constitution and they are not happy about it.

1SG (Join to see) - Until recently? The one reference that you gave in response to my questioning statement goes back to the very founding of our nation as a Republic. That is not recent by any stretch of the imagination.
Or did you miss the part where it was different in the Articles of Confederation as opposed to the current Constitution?

1SG (Join to see) - The further we detach ourselves from God the more likely it is that our Country will be taken over by non-believers or worse... Totally sad in my opinion!

1SG (Join to see) - You are a hypocrite. You would not defend anyone's religion per the Constitution AEB being happy it is kicked out. If you would really defend someone's religion, you would take issue when an atheist's rights overcome someone's religion. I have as much right to practice my beliefs in public as you do to not practice however you post just the opposite, that the Constitution only protects you. Bull shit.

MAJ Byron Oyler - I am for all religions being able to practice their faiths. They do not get to put any 1 religion on a pedestal above any other. The constitution is clear. I have stood alongside the religious to fight for their freedoms AS LONG AS it is within constitutional bounds. Your baseless accusation of me being a hypocrite is just that...baseless and bull shit. I'm sure you would be ok with Muslim prayer and only muslim prayer being used to open government sessions...right? Afterall, can't impose on religious freedom. We can go back and forth further if you wish.

Lucky for the 1,000's of Soldiers I had influence over and served for, they did not have to deal with the likes of Mr. Webster. He must of had a tough go of it over his 20 years. He didn't quite grasp my comment in that all religions are constitutional but what those religions try to do may not be constitutional.

And lucky for the thousands of Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, Merchant Marines, and civilians that I had influence over and the ones that I served did not have to deal with the likes of Mr. Gomez, very often. And I would place my list against Mr. Gomez's anytime.
What is worse from his statement is that he has no grasp of what he is saying or implying by his inaccurate false hypocritical statements. Even with having looked at and with perusal of my RP profile, he has failed to grasp the point.
As for his comment, our peers (not just myself) have come to the same conclusion - your statement is nonsensical or put a different way senseless and illogical. (No pun intended.)
