My company Musa Productions is proud to be working with this amazing new non-profit organization. Warrior Rising helps Veterans start their own businesses. They offer "a hand up, not a handout." Veteran-owned, they are just beginning their efforts to get the word out. They're seeking donors, highly qualified mentors to help their "Vetrepreneurs" and of course Vetrepreneurs seeking business training, guidance, and funding.

Sounds too good to be true. I am a tad leary of many "Vet- 501s" or "veterans charities". I've been ripped off both financially and had my ID stolen by said orginization(s). (i.e. Service dogs for veterans is a huge scam today!)

It's not too good to be true, but it's also not easy. They don't just throw money at every wanna-be entrepreneur. Every member, whether a Vetrepreneur or Mentor, goes through a fairly rigorous vetting process. Most of the founders are West Point grads with MBAs. I am educated too Sir, MBA is next phase of my dual Masters degree. Afterwich I must decide to either (a) Go into business, or (b) Go for my PhD / DBA and HOPE to get hired by a university or a company ... and being an older veteran...that's a huge undertaking in a Spanish speaking section of "OUR" country,... No I don't speak Spanish. Here no Spanish = No job! (Long live the south! Lol! :) ;). )!

Not sure what you mean by chapter based, but they operate more like an incubator/trainer/mentor/investor. They match Vetrepreneurs with proven mentors, interested investors, and if warranted they can provide grants and loans. But they don't just throw resources and anyone with an idea....they vet the Vetrepreneurs and the mentors to ensure they'll be successful.
