The truth is some of the big blue cities no longer report their crime stats to the FBI.
Reported crimes are down but real crime is not really down.

What's "real" crime? And how do you know what crimes are actually happening if no one reports it?
Also it's not "blue cities" it's law enforcement agencies around the country not reporting. Not "cities." An issue why some don't report is the FBI changed it's reporting system in 2021 and some precincts couldn't keep up with the new system.
"For more than 100 years, the FBI has been collecting crime data from local police departments across the country through the Uniform Crime Reporting Program, which has been the gold standard of national crime statistics.By 2020, almost every law enforcement agency was included in the FBI’s database. Some agencies reported topline numbers, such as the total number of murders or car thefts, through the Summary Reporting System. Others reported granular incident data with details about each reported crime through the newer National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS)."
"Then it all changed in 2021. In an effort to fully modernize the system, the FBI stopped taking data from the old summary system and only accepted data through the new system. Thousands of police agencies fell through the cracks because they didn’t catch up with the changes on time."

The states attorneys are also not prosecuting crimes like they used to, which will lower the reported crime rates.

What that shows is reported crime.... If the FBI is ignoring general crime at the expense political enforcement then obviously general crime won't be reported.

The FBI isn't ignoring any crime. Again read the article. Bigger precincts haven't caught up to using the new reporting system but should be by the end of the year.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff how do you know that. Your statement is speculation.. you don't have access to what the FBI ignores.
