WATCH: Durham driver clashes with May Day protesters

Here is my question, did they have a permit, why where they on the road if not, why do protesters feel the need to block traffic in the first place. I am all for any ones right to protest anything as long as it is legal, (permits etc if needed) and does not impede others rights to say get to work etc.

I find it hilarious that they are wearing bright orange road vests for safety...then decide to stand in a road full of traffic.
