Back in my Army days, we used to get yelled at for personalizing our helmets. But we all tried to push it as far we could.

From photo's I see of the Middle East conflict, I don't think so. But, I am a squid so I would not know. I too would look forward to the responses you get.

This squid used to see a lot of helmet art when we were taking in troops from the field or on-loading in Da Nang. Might be nice to see how far some troops took it.
