Thank you, Steven. I try to believe it never bothered me. If it did, I kept my feelings buried deep, where they still are today, forty-five years later.

Same here, all that was brought back by the Ken Burns series on the Vietnam War. Even his uneven explanations of the North Vietnamese military and VC attrocities. There is no doubt where he stood.

MCPO Roger Collins - I was NOT impressed with that documentary for several reasons. More than anything, I was very disappointed in its overall message and lack of inclusiveness, as far as the service coverage. It was all Army and Marines, with some Air Force thrown in for good measure. Very little Navy and microscopic Coast Guard.

SCPO (Join to see) - Good point. All I saw regarding the Navy role was a quick shot of one of our riverine forces (Brown Water Navy) and nothing about the Coasties participation.

MCPO Roger Collins - BINGO!!! Save for the BUFFs out of Guam, the Navy perform almost all of the bombing. Way to go, Burns.
