SSG Drew Cook I have actually never seen a down vote in the few weeks that I have been actively using the site --- sorry for that. I do love that our vets and Service Members are seeing the bigger picture of the fact that we fight to defend constitutionally protected liberties!

I respect your stance on the issue of the 49's Qb excercise of his 1st amendment right. Anyone who has an opinion that is an American also enjoys the same protection of speech, deal with it. I am enjoying watching all of the 1st amendment being excercised.

I for one fully support his right to protest. It is one of the most American things to do. What would the narrative be if he was in the streets protesting?

Protesting in public is protected speech, might get charged for j-walking though if not in a crosswalk. The right of free speech doesn't protect against criminal threats though. Yes, I am saying that protesters and free speech in general should be mindful of the use of threats. Hate speech is more of a grey area, however threatening isn't.
