Veterans Get 3 Mental Health Visits a Year for Free with VA's New Copay Exemption

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced a new exemption which would provide veterans with three outpatient mental health and substance use disorder visits a year for free. The intent is to expand access to and encourage the use of mental health services and lower veterans' costs.
