Having done the immigration thing in KOREA. I know that the US Embassy has the instructions in both ENG and Korean. I am embarrassed that the LTC was in my career branch. But, I think the info is pretty easy to find on the internet. In fact, there are ways to get citizenship quicker if you are a family member in country/OCONUS. Some questions could be asked before I feel sad about this.

I do too. The daughter sounds like the perfect kind of young person we need in our country. SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint

SGT (Join to see) - I think and hope she gets in via STEM. Lots of fixes. I believe she will be able to get in without and issues on adoption. It will be based on her education and credentials.

A sad story in that adoption is no different than buying a house or a car. You have to do your paperwork and research. Ignorance is no excuse. Muddled? Confused? Get an imigration attorney. 2K and everythings' taken care of. But having said that, I do my wife's registrations and renewals with little issue.

You are right, but it sometimes immigration gets so muddled that we lose out on great immigrant additions to our country.

This is how crazy stupid this country has become on anything to do with immigration.
