VA secretary: Disney doesn't measure wait times, so why should VA?

I have shared and commented on several of the VA Scandals over the last 6 months. I have had members here chastise me and wax on and extol the virtues of the VA. The more I see the more I understand the VA is the Enemy of the Veteran.

Well, here we are again with this gem of utter delusion. The fact that Mr. Robert McDonald thinks the VA should run on the Magic Kingdom’s business plan brings to question his competence to direct anything. ::::No one dies waiting on, It’s a Small World!!::::
We have had VA’s with Cockroach infestations, Black Mold, false wait lists, Refusal of staff to assist people, Phone contact loops, Staff corruption and theft, Vets dying while still on waiting list never having been seen, 50% increase in vets waiting to be seen, 142 million paid in bonuses to people involved in all the above scandals. All of that just in the last 18 months.
We hear platitudes from Washington and from the festering maggots running the VA about how much the Veteran matters. About how much they care and how they are making the system better, All I see is more civilian bureaucracy designed to stall any support of Veterans, to crush their will to keep trying, and to keep those responsible in power and safe from prosecution.
The message is coming in loud and clear from Washington and the VA “do your duty, do your time, then be good and DIE before we have to deal with you.”

I paraphrase Edward R. Murrow as he sums up my sentiments in regards to my above statement.
“If I’ve offended you by this rather mild account, I’m not in the least sorry”
