US Navy SEAL killed, 3 injured in raid on Al Qaeda in Yemen

I am so sorry to hear this. GWOT fostered by Iran and Hezbollah. Saudi Arabia fostered Whabbbism which started Al Quaida and later ISIS. We are in World War V since the Beirut Barracks Bombing. Hezbollah (Iran) was responsible.

It is interesting that a raid was conducted on the targeted facility instead of a series of drone strikes CPT (Join to see). I expect that based on the released details (1) that the targets hid among women and children and (2) they were important enough to be captured alive necessitated special operators assaulting the compound.
The fact that (1) 14 militants from al-Qaida's branch in Yemen, formally known as "al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula," were killed in the operation and (2) tribal officials said the Americans captured and departed with at least two unidentified individuals on Sunday indicates that the mission was an operational success at a significant cost of US Navy SEAL Chief Petty Officer William "Ryan" Owens was killed and now four service members were wounded.
Prayers for the family of the slain SEAL and full recovery of the wounded service members.
