University defends fascist posters telling gay people to kill themselves

Posters that tell people to commit suicide have absolutely no place there, or anywhere for that matter. Even if it is within their 1st amendment rights, which it's not, the university doesn't have to allow them to post such things. Encouraging genocide is not something to shrug at. That is why these groups still exist.

I assume Cleveland State University has a policy that covers posting things on campus and in campus buildings. As long as the posters are compliant with that policy, the CSU president has little choice but to allow them ... despicable though they may be. And yes ... that is truly what "freedom of speech" means ... giving voice even unto people you would rather not hear from ... voicing a message that you intensely dislike. The good thing is that those of different opinion have the same freedom to voice THEIR message in opposition.
