Ukraine's uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) are dominating naval combat in the Black Sea. Yet they have, until now, been particularly vulnerable to aircraft. So Russian defenses have emphasized using helicopters and fighter jets to stop them. Now a version armed with two repurposed air-air missiles could change the tide again.

War makes technology improve fast. Only the Space Race of the fifties and sixties saw that kind of rapid development without firing shots.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Sadly, what I know of History, as long as Russia sticks with it Historical strategy in War, where the cost in Human lives means nothing and the meat grinder just continues on...the Ukraine will eventually lose. But then again, a young country back in the late 1700's was ignored by the two biggest Armies and Navies in History: the French and British, and somehow...won. So here is hope.
