Uber stock jumps on deal to offer New York City taxi rides in app

I didn’t know NYC taxis were going to be listed on the Uber app. Honestly, it makes sense, though, because it’s just another way to get more rides for the drivers. I’ve been using a mix of taxis and Uber for a while, depending on what’s available. Once, I actually helped a friend set up something similar for his small transport service.
