Is this supposed to impress me, maybe motivate me to move to a more peaceful nation? Sorry, it didn't. "Peace" is highly overrated. Liberty is messy and often dangerous, but I'll take it over peace any day

114th puts us in the bottom third of countries ranked. If you divided the U.S. stats into two groups, one being Democrat-controlled major cities and the other being everyplace else, I'm betting you'd see one of the two groups climb into the top third, and the other group fall closer to the bottom of the rankings. And I'm going out on a limb here, but I think the group with the legally-owned guns would be the more peaceful group.

Or maybe an easier way to divide the country up for peacefulness comparison purposes might just be to use the 2016 county election map.
