I've read the article and I believe like most of us, I am very concerned. I also believe that the solution will be solved at levels above most of our pay grades. That said, what do/can we do at our respective pay grades to mitigate this.

Reducing Military manpower, units, bases, equipment, spare parts overusing Military people with excessive repeat deployments of the same people over and over again. Politics rather than leadership being a criteria for selection of Senior Officers. Some people just don't grasp the concept that a strong military can actually prevent wars, the soft target is always the vulnerable target. History has taught that lesson over and over again but it seems a lot of national leaders were not paying attention to that lesson ! In this case a failing grade can cost a lot of lives. !

Fighting two wars at a time, no problem. Fighting at multiple fronts, now that's a problem.
