Two Bears Were About to Get Down to Business When a Hiker Interrupted

This is such a great metaphor: Russia and Syria being 'interrupted' by Obama, etc. True story: my unit had just returned to CONUS NYC from KSA Port Abdul Aziz Port of Dammam to march in ticker tape parade down Broadway later that week. Coast Guard put us up in the Marriott Marquis. Later that night at the hotel I walked in on my shipmate, a meek and mild-mannered insurance salesman from the mid-west, being 'welcomed back home' by a grateful NYC patriot. She hocked like a cat coughing up a steel wool fur ball and quickly left before consummating her welcome. Boy, was he pissed! So don't interrupt any mammal during rutting season! Just sayin'...lock your bathroom doors!!!
