I thought Romney's criticism was rather mild but also fair. Though it is really a mystery to me why Romney sought the endorsement of POTUS if he disagreed with him in these various areas. To ask for someones support to obtain a major goal in your life and then turn on that same person with public criticism is two faced in my view. So Romney has sealed his fate, he won't go further than the Senate and it's even open to doubt if he will serve a second term.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Specifically hypocritical about the recent Senate Campaign was Romney previously stated he would never accept an endorsement from President Trump........yet he did so again with the 2018 Senate Campaign as he did in 2012...... Romeny has no less than three flip-flops on Trump. He seems to be for Trump when it benefits Romney and against Trump when the wind changes direction.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Semantics left out of the article. Pretty clear Romney would not have been in attendence nor would he had a speech ready for acceptance had he not worked out a deal in advance with Trump. I know how much you like to argue over split hairs but you really have lost the argument on this several posts back. Not going to continue to waste my time proving an obvious point that an average reader would agree with me on.
