Trump to Award Medal of Honor to World War II Infantryman

LT. Garlin Murl Conner's children and grandchildren should be proud of this awarding of the MOH, even though it's a few years late coming.

Seems like it should've been upgraded sooner, but I'm glad it's happening. Good story!

That war, in particular, but all wars, in general, generated heroism on a scale unbelievable in civilian life. It’s good to see these men being so accorded the honours they deserve. In truth, however, there are thousands upon thousands more lying dead in marked and unmarked graves all across this globe whose acts of “conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity” are, as they say, and will forever remain known but to God.
